A day before a show¶

On a Friday night, your venue is sold out : some attendees booked online several weeks in advance, others buy their seat at the box office an hour before curtain, and a works council has booked a block of twenty seats for its evening out. On weekdays, the same venue also hosts a guided tour of the backstage area or relays the ticketing of a partner museum, outside the programming season.

Three profiles, one single concern : never sell more tickets than there are seats in the venue. Without a shared system, nothing prevents the venue from being oversold between the box office, online sales, and group bookings.

The Channels manager module, currently in development (the first building blocks are already in place), will make it possible to sync your availability with these external channels directly from Odoo, with no manual re-entry.

The Sales module lets you draw up a quote for a block of seats, with deferred invoicing if needed â€” the same flow as a standard sales order, applied to your showtimes.

Does the module work for a show that plays a single night as well as a season-long run?
