A day at an indoor sports complex reception desk¶

This Wednesday evening, squash court #2 is booked by a member until 7pm, while court #3 is still free for a pay-per-visit rental. At the same time, a walk-in customer signs up for an annual membership on the spot, before asking where to book a guided tour of the city center or a ticket for the neighboring museum.

Each court in your complex has its own schedule, each time slot must be booked with no overlap, and your memberships coexist with pay-per-visit sales on the same slots. Without a schedule synchronized between reception and online sales, the same time slot could be assigned twice on the same court.
